Hello,

I am new here. My name is Petr, I am from the Czech Republic and I keep and breed 8 species of Phelsuma and Lygodactylus. I have no experience with Anolis but like these lizards and would like to try to some smaller species. There are not many informations and care sheets on web so I would like to ask people here in this forum - could you give me an advice? I would like to start with some smaller (to 15 cm) but not difficult to keep species. I am not interested in A. carolinensis or sagrei - these species are common in our country and A. carolinensis is a little big for me.

Many thanks, greetings,
Petr

Hi Uwe,
many thanks for your advice, both species look interesting in appearance. I have also found several other species, where A. bahorucoensis looks great. How is it with this species - it is also small (4-5 cm) but isn't it difficult to keep? Could you give me an advice how large terrarium is enough for one pair and what type of conditions is the best?
Many thanks, greetings,
Petr

Hi Uwe,

many thanks. I am not very strong in German but can read, so it is no problem. I try to get the magazine or the article.

Greetings,
Petr
